Traditional events (Tamba)

They start building the yamaboko float and adorning it with lanterns on the 23rd. On the nights of the 23rd and 24th, amid the reverberations from musical bands, the light from the lanterns sets the vibrant scene aglow. On the 25th there is a yamaboko float parade, which is also known as the "Mini Gion Festival." Also featured are a Folding Screen Festival and Town Gallery, centering around the float Town.
