Mt. Tenno/Hatatatematsu
Mt. Tennozan is famous as the scene of the Battle of Yamazaki, where Hashiba Hideyoshi defeated Akechi Mitsuhide in 1582. This hill facing Mt.Otokoyama across the Yodogawa River was the scene of frequent battles. The Hatatatematsu Observatory affords magnificent views of the intersection of three rivers - the Katsuragawa, the Ujigawa and the Kizugawa.
