Yakunogenbugankoen (Yakuno Basalt Rock Formation Park)
This area features a columnar joint hexagon 40-50 cm long, which was formed when the lava from an eruption of Mt. Takara (the only volcano in Kyoto Prefecture) cooled down and hardened. People come to the surrounding park to relax.
