Nohara is a fishing village located on a large peninsular inlet. It is known as a summer bathing spot popular with families. At 'Shinome' it is possible to experience the life of a fishing village. Providing you make a reservation, you can visit anytime. You can see fixed net fishing, or try your hand at making dried seafood. For those that would like to get even closer to life in the fishing village, you can even stay overnight.
