Yakunokogen Heights
This lava plateau 150 to 200 meters high was formed from an eruption of Mt. Takara 300 to 400 thousand years ago. With flowers blooming in all seasons, it is a place of great natural beauty. The beautiful orange lotus azaleas that bloom in June are particularly attractive.
