Kumano Sake-Making
Kumihama Bay - where the four seasons are shown in all their glory. From the sake brewery that makes the famous "Kumahama no Ura", a view of the whole bay can be enjoyed. Having worked here for the past 40 years, the skill and passion of chief brewer Inoue Akira, as well as scientific know-how goes into producing sake here. This brewery has been honoured by a number of awards including the All Japan New Sake Appraisal Society's Gold Award, and the Osaka Branch of the same organization's Gold Award. If you make a reservation a tour and tasting is possible.
