Kungyokudo

Kodo (The Way of Incense) is, like the Japanese tea ceremony and Ikebana flower arrangement, one of Japan's important cultural traditions. The fragrant wood called 'Jinko' (Aloe Wood) offers a sublime stimulation of the senses. Through this art we can come to appreciate what is uniquely Japanese. In the Kodo Experience Workshop, as well as learning the basic Kodo etiquette, you will learn about the history, the types, and the manufacturing process of Japanese incense. It is sure to be a precious experience. Booking in Japanese or through an interpreter.
