Sumiyama Pottery Center
The Sumiyama Pottery Center produces Kyo & Kiyomizu pottery (traditional crafts designated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry). You can experience painting and shaping of Kyo and Kiyomizu pottery, and can take a study tour of the creation process. In the painting class,you can experience painting on plain cups and plates. The works you make in the class will be shipped to you later. The class admits a maximum of 50 participants.
