Tambaji Sake no Yakata (House of Sake) by Oishi Shuzo

The Ooishi Shuzo brewery in Tamba, established in the Genroku period (1688-1703), produces such local sake as "Okinatsuru" and "Onikoroshi." Sake no Yakata (House of Sake), an old sake warehouse, has a shop on the first floor where you can purchase or taste freshly brewed sake straight from this brewery as well as specialty sake from the Tamba area. The exhibit room on the second floor, featuring utensils and other instruments actually used in making sake, gives an easy-to-understand picture of the history and process of sake brewing.
