Washi Denshokan Museum

Visitors to the museum are presented with the history and manufacturing techniques of handmade washi paper, which was a traditional industry of Oecho during the Edo and Meiji Eras, through actual implements, photos and video. In the studio, visitors can also try their hand at Shikishi and Binsen (letter paper) making. (Reservations are required for groups of ten or more. The fee is 800 yen.)
