The Kimono Passport is a small booklet that offers special privileges and discounts if you are wearing a kimono, and it is loaded with full information of Kyoto.  It is popular and has been used by majority of people. Special privileges can be received such as in temple/shrine, art gallery and museums, service in stores and restaurants, kimono rental information and a list of cooperation stores when the kimono dishevels. By all means, please try kimono, which is the Japanese traditional apparel and take a walk through old row of houses in Kyoto.
