This is the culture facility that was built reusing the red brick storehouse in 1902 (Meiji 35). It opened in 2007, and by making use of the genuine charm and force from the red brick house, there is a tall/stout gallery using inner wall and there are spaces exhibiting cultural assets of Maizuru City. The permanent exhibitions are divided into 3 areas, Shomon Maruki boat exhibition area, red brick warehouse reconstruction area, Itoi Bunko ukiyoe exhibition area, the treasures which Maizuru City is proud of. Other exhibitions are carried out from time to time.
