Asamogawa Onsen "Shizuka no Sato" (Quiet Village)
This spa has two bathing areas - "Shizu-no-yu" and "Yoshitsune-no-Yu." The two areas switch off everyday between men and women bathers. "Shizu-no-yu" is equipped with a "neyu" (bath that you can stretch out in), "mizuburo" (a cold water bath) and a sauna. "Yoshitsune-no-yu" is equipped with a "nagare-bath" (flowing water bathtub), and an "utaseyu" bath and a hakomushi (steam box). Located atop a low hill, the place affords a magnificent view of the Sea of Japan.
