Shutendoji no Sato (Village of demon legends)
There are three old legends regarding Mt. Oe, including the legend about Minamoto Yorimitsu destroying demons. This place, the name of which was taken from the hero Shutendoji, offers a variety of facilities, including the Nihon no Oni no Koryu Hakubutsukan (The Japanese Oni Museum) and the Doji-so House, where visitors can try their hand at making onigawara (devil) tiles. Visitors can stay at Oeyama Green Lodge.
