Fukuchiyama-shi Tamba Seikatsuikan Museum (Cloths Museum)

Fukuchiyama City owns about 3,600 pieces of clothes from the Tanba region (which are designated by the city as important cultural properties) that it received as a donation from the late Michiko Kawaguchi, who lived in Fukuchiyama City. In the museum are equipment which was used in former times and a training room. Visitors can try their hands at dyes made from indigo and the looms. (Visitors must pay for the material costs.)
