Woody Keihoku

This museum was established to promote "the understanding of the ecological relationship between forests and human beings" and "the forestry industry which cultivates woodland." The museum includes a small library where visitors can learn about forestry, mountains, trees and the functions of woodland. There is an exhibit presenting the processes of wood production, deforestation, and the manufacture of wood products, as well as the history of forestry in the Keihoku district.
