Ike Taiga Art Museum

Ike Taiga Art Museum, located near Koke - dera Temple, houses a collection of work by the poet-painter IkeTaiga. Ike is counted along with Yosa Buson as one the two Nanga masters of the mid-Edo Period. The collection includes some 140 works of art and related materials ranging from Ike's youth to his old age. About 80 of these items are on display in the permanent exhibit.
