The Jotenkaku Museum
Visitors to the Jotenkaku Art Museum, located within the precincts of Shokoku - ji Temple, can savor the culture of the Muromachi Period through the exhibit of treasures from Shokoku - ji Temple, Kinkaku - ji Temple, Ginkaku - ji Temple, and other temples. Many of the objects exhibited are National Treasures or Important Cultural Properties - greatly impressing the visitors. There is a remarkable view of the Fudarakusen garden beyond the "Muchu-an" tea arbor. The chirping of wild birds can be heard from the nearby trees.
