Kondo Yuzo Memorial Hall
The Kondo Yuzo Memorial Hall, located in Kiyomizu, was built in memory of Kondo Yuzo, who during his life was a Living National Treasure for his sometsuke pottery and porcelain technique. Included in the collection is the large 126cm sometsuke plate, painted with plum blossoms. Visitors here can get a feel for the way Kondo Yuzo lived his life - which he dedicated to making ceramics.
