Raku Museum
This museum features Rakuyaki. These ceramic bowls are formed one at time with a pallet rather than a wheel, and fired in a special kiln using a blower called "fuigo". The Raku Museum contains some 1,000 items, including Rakuyaki produced by the Raku family since the time of Chojiro (the first generation of this family of ceramic artists) over 400 years ago, as well as handicrafts used in the tea ceremony and old documents.
