The Kyoto Prefectural Yamashiro Folk Museum, located in Yamashiro-cho, collects and exhibits historical, archeological and folk-related materials of the Minami-yamashiro region. They have a permanent exhibit called "The History and Culture of Minamiyamashiro," and also hold seasonal exhibits. Visitors can enjoy making things in the "Kokoro no Fureai Workshop."
