Myoshin-ji Temple

This temple is the headquarters of the Myoushinji sub-sect of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism, and was built in 1337. You will find monastery buildings and about 40 related temples on the premises. Their painting by Kano Tanyu, a famous Japanese painter, is in the main hall of the temple.
