Motoisekono - jinja Shrine
This shrine is called the highest ranking shrine in the Tango region, it is a very prestigious old shrine. Enshrined here are the same deities enshrined at Ise - jingu Shrine amaterasu-Omikami and Toyouke-Okami. It is said that the history of this shrine dates back to the age of the gods, and that it was the origin of Ise - jingu Shrine. Since Ise - jingu Shrine was moved from this spot, this shrine is called Motoise (Original Ise). Containing many National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties, Motoisekono - jinja Shrine is imbued in a sublime atmosphere.
