Shotenkyo sandbar
Shotenkyo (literally, Little Amanohashidate) is so named because the sandbar which separates Kumihama Bay and the Sea of Japan resembles Amanohashidate. From Mt. Kabuto there is a magnificent view of the Sea of Japan. Kakidana, which is a sight to behold in the winter, spreads out below your eyes.
