Ume-Plum-Forest

The Aodani-bairin Ume Plum forest produces the rare variety of large-stoned Joshuhaku plums, and organises an Ume plum festival during February and March when the trees begin to blossom. Many visitors from overseas come to visit and feel the first arrival of the Japanese springtime.
