Driver License Suspension Training Courses

These training courses are conducted for persons who have had their driver licenses suspended.

The aim of the courses is to:

Increase understanding of traffic rules and regulations, knowledge regarding driving safety, and driving skills and aptitude.

Also:

The period of license suspension may be significantly reduced, in accordance with the results obtained on the training course test.

Short course

This course is for persons who have had their license suspended for 30 days.

The suspension period may be shortened by up to 29 days.

Medium course

This course is for persons who have had their license suspended for 60 days. Generally, the course should be attended on two consecutive days. The suspension period may be shortened by up to 30 days.

Long course

This course is for persons who have had their license suspended for 90 days or more. Generally, the course should be attended on two consecutive days.

The suspension period may be shortened by up to 45 days in the case of a 90-day suspension; by up to 60 days for a 120-day suspension; by up to 70 days for a 150-day suspension; and by up to 80 days for a 180-day suspension.

A booking is required to attend this long course.
